I told them almost everything about Jones, what he said about Kino and the symbol. It was better if I didn’t tell them about the darkness inside me. They didn’t need to know unless it was strictly necessary, which it wasn’t.

“Kino? I remember him. He was always a bit arrogant, but never attacked anyone.” Joannie said.

“Yeah. He was always bragging about being number one, and that no one could defeat him. No one could, but no one wanted to be near him also. It was a plague. The power had pulled him to the top but pushed everyone away from him. I heard rumors that his group kicked him.” Rashida added.

Kitty interrupted us and asked for the letter. She contemplated it intently and seemed to be thinking thoroughly about the symbol. I had never seen her like that. The whole world around her was gone and the only two things that existed were her and the letter.

  “Hummmm.” She mumbled.

  “What?” I asked.

“He’s right. I remember this symbol too. It’s not from a group, but a guild. They have more than 30 members. But I can’t remember their name, only where I met one of them. Before I joined this team I belonged to a group called Sphynx. I was their healer and we were stationed in the rainy city, Beldux. One day we got attacked by three other groups who belonged to a guild in which the only goal was to plunder and kill anyone that stood in their way. We were strong but outnumbered. Half of my team died and I was about to be the next one when two girls and a guy appeared out of nowhere and killed them in less than a minute. I didn’t even have time to thank them before they were gone. They vanished as quickly as they appeared. They had that symbol on their cloaks.”

“…and what about the guild?” Brianna said, interrupting her.

“I was about to talk about that. If you didn’t interrupt me, you know?” Brianna grumbled but didn’t reply back allowing Kitty to continue, “after that, I did some digging and that was the only thing I found out. Even people who seemed to know about them were afraid of talking. I gave them items, money, everything I could think of but nothing came out of it. I believe they were willing to die for what they knew.” She said.

We all kept our mouth shuts because there was nothing to say. We were back to square one.

“Well, let’s begin our journey. Immortuos is waiting for us.” Joannie said and began walking toward her ship.

Foxy was really quiet. She looked like me on my first day on the ship, shy, thinking too hard about what to say and afraid of doing mistakes. The person she was now was the exact opposite of who she was yesterday, in my room. We split apart, Brianna was talking to Rashida, Joannie was teaching Kitty how to guide the ship in case something happened to her and I walked up to Foxy and asked her if she was okay.

“Slightly nervous. I just need to get used to this. I wish we were still in your room. I bet you would fuck the stress out of me, wouldn’t you?” She said.

Her cute, young face contrasted with her bold and sassy attitude. She knew no limits and got closer to me. My heart raced and my cock rose. No one was paying attention to us.

  “I definitely would,” I replied.

“We better find a way to do it or I’ll go crazy.” She said.

With Brianna and Joannie, it would be difficult to find a place and time to do it. They all wanted me, and I wanted all of them. Each one had its flaws and qualities, and so did I. One day I’d have to find a solution but until then I was just following the motion and seeing where it led me.

  “Gather here,” Joannie shouted.

We all went to her and waited for her to explain why she had called us. “We’ll take two days to get to Immortuos. The only thing I know is that it’s an island whose soil is dry, and has steel, dried mountains that are bigger than the icy ones we saw on the way to Riverdant.” She said, and made a brief pause, “You know the rules. You can train but whoever damages the ship is paying for the repairs.”

  We all agreed.

I warned them I was going to log out to check on Jones. Just because he was healthy enough to walk up to my house didn’t mean he was cured. He still couldn’t move without his bones popping and cracking. He must have been full of adrenaline or on pain medication, to walk to my house without passing out midway.

“Tell Jones we all miss him,” Brianna asked me.

It was the first time I heard her being cute to someone. Despite the darkness that lived inside Jones there was a bright life on the outside. He had learned to deal with both sides of him, and I had to do the same. There was no way I’d let the faceless man win. We had come so far, I wasn’t going to throw it all away for a bit of power, or control over my life.

  I logged out.

I looked around and Jones was nowhere to be seen, not in my bedroom, not in the kitchen, living room, and definitely not in the bathroom. What the hell was he thinking?

Several theories invaded my mind. Someone could have kidnapped him while I played, or maybe he just decided that he needed to go back to the hospital, or there was something he needed to fix. I figured that it was better to not waste any more time thinking about it. A few sunbeams were peeking through the curtains. I was about to sit on my reclining black chair when I noticed a paper on the desk, near the slice of cake I had eaten hours ago.

“I had to take care of something. I won’t be coming back. I remembered where that symbol is from, a guild called Savened. Their motto is something about saving the world from the darkness. No one knows who they are or who created them in the first place, but they’re extremely strong. Be careful.”

That was it. Nothing more. At least we were getting closer to finding out who was willing to help us. Having strong people on our side was more than needed, it was necessary. The first thing we had to find out was where Steveinsh lived, if he could help us, and who the hell Debil was.

However, we had a huge problem. Tillian might have warned Krespo that we ran away and he might be waiting for us. We would have to defeat him and force him to tell us what he knows. If Tillian sent us there it was because he knew something and I’d rather bath in his blood than leave without a way of facing the faceless man. I wasn’t going to succumb to darkness but we were well past the point of being nice.

Well, it was time to go back to the game.

  Chapter II

The sea was brave and waves clashed furiously against the ship. Screams were coming from the deck and I hastened my pace. Rashida was fighting against Foxy, and she wasn’t making it easy. He had twice her strength but had all the disadvantages. She was too fast for his arrows and he couldn’t hit her. His arrows were spread out along the deck and Foxy kept moving, wielding her daggers and trying to get closer. One blow and she would win. Kitty and Joannie were watching but Brie and Trent were nowhere to be seen. They had probably logged out too.

Foxy slung one of her daggers against Rashida and while he lifted his arms and bow to protect his face, she ran to his back and tried to hit him with the dagger. It was a nice try but it wasn’t enough. He was already expecting her to do that and before she could even touch him he kicked her in the face. She grumbled but accepted the defeat.

  He had read her perfectly.

“You did well.” He said and helped her up.

She thanked him and added that next time she wouldn’t be so easily deceived. As soon as she noticed I was back she ran to me and gave me a hug. Joannie stared at me and whispered something, which made Kitty laugh.

“Did you see me fight?” Foxy asked.

“Only the last part. You were quite amazing. I lost on my first time too so don’t worry. You’ll get better” I replied, and patted her head, “everyone come over here. I got news.” I shouted.

No way I was going to wait for Brianna and Trent to be back, this was too important. I told them about Jones leaving and his recent discovery. Now we knew the name of the guild and we could ask about them. Everyone seemed apprehensive to smile, they all feared for Jones despite me reassuring he would be fine.

Once again we went through our plan and
discussed our options. There was nothing much else to do and I wasn’t in the mood for a fight. The waves kept hitting the boat’s hull, grey clouds and wind gusts replaced the sun. At least Trent wasn’t with us or we would be complaining about the salty scent.

We spent two days talking, wandering around the boat, and logging in and out. I informed Brie and Trent about Jones when I got the chance and the days passed slowly.

I ended up texting Demi and apologizing. She replied that she didn’t want to force me to do anything but didn’t want me to waste my life playing a game. It was hard to argue with her but I told her I only needed a week and then everything would be back to normal.

  At least, I hoped so.

Everyone stood on their tiptoes when Joannie screamed, “Land in sight, land in sight!”

A huge island lay before us.

There was a tiny harbor and a wooden house along the shore and not a single living soul to be seen. Part of the island was under constant onslaught from rain while the other one had to deal with a strong wind and small tornadoes. Its mountains were twice the size of Riverdant’s icy mountains. The hills stretched through kilometers where we could see explosions, and bursts of magic from miles away, in different parts of the island.

  There was always people fighting.

“Get ready everyone. Suit up, and have your weapons ready. We don’t know what’s waiting for us there.” Brie ordered.

  We all obeyed, even Joannie.

Lately, they had been talking, and they seemed closer. There was still a long road ahead for them to call each other friends but at least they stopped hating each other. It still took us an hour to get to the island.

There was a small bridge that led us to the rest house, and as we walked we noticed that the plants and bushes around us were all dead. Everything that should have a life didn’t have one. Foxy gripped my hand, fear couldn’t take the best out of us, but she was crumbling and I could understand why.

The air smelled like shit and it felt like death was just around the corner and we couldn’t trust anyone but ourselves. We opened the rest place’s door and got in. There were two NPC’s at the counter, and they told us to come closer. One was an older guy, and the other was possibly his daughter.

“Welcome to Immortuos. This is a safe zone and any attempts of attacking someone else here will cause your account to get deleted. Fight outside.” He said, “I’ll find a room for each one of you.”

We thanked him and Rashida asked him if he knew a man named Steveinsh. To which he replied that he heard the name, but had never seen the man. It seemed that whoever this mysterious guy was he had built a house for himself in the mountains where we could log out without a resting place. He had to be extremely strong to be able to live on his own in a place like this.

“Do you have any idea where he lives?” Rashida asked.

“I don’t know exactly, but if I’m not mistaken it’s on the third left mountain, right at the top.” He said and told us to follow him.

Each of us had our own room, and he also gave us special cloaks for the windy and the rainy weather. We discussed our next move and decided that it was best to rest now and explore the area late at night. Everyone must be sleeping so if we get lucky we won’t have any problems. We all agreed to meet there at 9 pm.

“Why didn’t you ask him about Krespo?” Kitty asked.

“I wasn’t sure if we could trust him. He’s an NPC, but he might tell Krespo about us like he just told us about Steveinsh. It’s better if we keep a low profile.” Rashida replied.

He was right, we couldn’t trust anyone. Joannie asked to talk to me after the others had already logged out. I followed her to her room, where she proceeded to sensually undress right in front of me. I gazed at her with pleasure and desire. Her boobs bounced and she twirled her soft fingers on her hair. My cock rose from the depths of my briefs and rubbed on the thin fabric. I walked up to her, leaned forward and began sucking her breasts, which made her tilt her head and moan softly. As I kept doing it and swirling my tongue on her nipples, she unbuttoned my pants and pulled them down.

“Fuck. I missed that cock.” She confessed.

She didn’t waste any time. Her knees hit the floor, and her hand grabbed my cock by the base while her tongue worked on the tip. It felt even better than our first time, and at least this time we wouldn’t need to worry about anyone coming in. She slid her lips down my length while pulling me closer.

My cock was rubbing on the back of her throat and it didn’t seem to bother her. She bobbed her head up and down, making sure she was going as deep as she could, as saliva dripped from her mouth. When she was finally done with me she got on all fours and diverted her ass cheeks. However, I had other plans. I flexed my knees and ran my tongue along her slit, swallowing her tasty juices. Her body squirmed and I grasped her inner thighs.

“It feels so good.” She shouted.

I even inserted two curved fingers inside her and rocked them enough to have her high pitched moans filling the room as she orgasmed. We were both needing a moment like this to relieve the stress. Finally, the time had come. I guided my cock into her warm, tight pussy and began moving my hips.

  “Faster” She shouted.

I hastened my pace until she told me to calm down. There were no voices in my head this time. I wasn’t sure if I was stronger or they just didn’t think it was worth showing up. Whatever it was I was glad. I fucked her mercilessly and she matched my movements, rocking her hips back and forth, making my cock go deeper. After a while of this, I told her I was about to cum, to which she replied that she wanted to taste me.

She turned around and knelt in front of me with her mouth wide open and her slightly big eyes staring at my hand as I jerked off.

“Please. All on my face and mouth.” She asked, almost begging for it.

She wouldn’t need to ask twice. I moved my hand faster and before I could even warn her a huge load shot out of my cock and went straight into her face. It slid down her nose and lips into her mouth, and some of it was on her forehead and cheeks. I thought she was going to be mad but she seemed to be loving it. She swallowed what she had in her mouth and the rest she used her fingers to take it from her beautiful face into her tongue. It was amazing. After we were done we sat on her bed, naked, and recovering our breath.

“Try not to die. We’ve got to do this again.” She said, giggling.

“I’ll do my best, and I tell you the same.”

“If I die you’ll have Foxy and Brie. Or did you think I hadn’t noticed?”

I was speechless. Well, it wasn’t weird that she knew, but I didn’t know how to answer.

“It’s okay. You can fuck whoever you want as long as you fuck me too.” She said. It sounded like a dream come true.

“I knew you were getting closer to Brie, but I never thought it was that much,” I said, and burst out laughing.

“Funny” She said sarcastically, “we’re trying to put our problems aside, at least until we save this world.”

  “A grown-up decision” I added.

“You’re right. Someone has to work to protect your asses from the danger, right?” She said, being playful.

We both laughed, and she put her head on my chest. Time passed slowly and we stayed like that for a while. There was absolute silence in the room until she told me that we had to log out and sleep to be ready for tonight.

She was right, a single mistake could cost us our lives.

  Chapter III

I woke up sweaty and frightened due to a nightmare I couldn’t remember. There were several people charging against me but that was all I could recall. A shower was all I needed to cool down and prepare myself for what lay ahead. I cooked, and as usual, I watched the news. A lot of financial troubles and people killing each other but nothing new about the game. Well, these things weren’t the type of problems that would be solved in a few days. Before I logged in I made sure to stretch my arms and legs and sip a glass of water. Wild Fantasy Onli
ne depended on us and, for the first time, I felt like we could actually pull it off.

I logged in and left my room, where everyone was waiting in the hall, except for Trent.

“Not surprised.” Brianna grumbled, “He’s always late.”

“He should be here in a matter of minutes.” Rashida tried to defend him. He wasn’t wrong. Trent appeared minutes later, smiling and full of energy. He had his flaws, but at the end of the day, he was the soul of the group. It was quite funny to think that the first time we met I hated him and wanted to fight him.

“Is everyone ready? It’s going to be a long walk.” Joannie said and took the lead.

I was expecting Brie to say something but she didn’t. She let Joannie have her moment, and followed her to outside of the resting place. We started our journey and began walking toward the top of the third mountain through dry lands and cobalt roads. They weren’t man made so it wasn’t easy to walk on them. I almost fell twice. We had to switch roads several times to keep on our route. The mountains were too close to each other and a simple slip would make us waste hours walking to the top of the wrong mountain.

Suddenly, an arrow coming out of nowhere hit the floor right in front of Brie. We looked around but there was no one there. Whoever was knew the place well and knew where to hide. We stopped and covered each other’s backs. No more arrows were shot.

“Who’s there? Show yourself.” Brie shouted.

A laugh came from behind the rocks that were a few meters away from us. Three men came out from the rocks, a level 9 with a bow, and two level 10’s with axes. Their laughter resembled the faceless man’s and it made us determined that we had to face them. Despite being outnumbered they weren’t even mildly concerned and seemed to think it was going to be an easy win.

“Time’s up.” One of the ax guys said right before he charged at Kitty. They wanted to eliminate our healer so we wouldn’t have a chance to recover.
